Route from Bucharest to Ramnicu Valcea

(8:37AM) In this photo we are on the highway from Bucharest to Pitesti. From Bucharest to Pitesti are 110km. So, the highway till Pitesti, looks like in this photo.
Here, I try to tell you how was our route, from Bucharest (Romania) to Nice (France). I do not have been the driver and for this reason, I had an opportunity to make many photos.

(10:27AM) The starting point of our route, was Bucharest (Balta Alba District, Baba Novac) at (8:00AM). We woke up at 6:30AM, so, we had enough time for a coffee and for to lay a good schedule.
We have arrived to Pitesti. Pitesti has no belt for the road. So, we went through the city centre.

(10:28AM) After 1 hour (aprox) we have get out from Bucharest(9:30AM), we have arrived in Pitesti, the capital of
Arges county. Pitesti is one of the beautiful city in Romania. Pitesti is so-called the City of tulips. On the left is the supermarket "Metro".

(10:30AM) In front of this photo, you may see the Customs Office from Pitesti. It was constructed in recent years and it has large and modern offices.

(10:35AM) Muntenia Hotel on the right. It's address is Piata Muntenia street, no.1. It has *** stars and 461 places with air condition, telephone, internet access, television set. Also restaurant and confectionery.

(10:40AM) The theatre 'Carol Davila'. The theatre was began construct in 1905 and was finished in 21 february 1915. In 1948 it was reconstructed in present shape.

(11:03AM) Now we are on the road from Pitesti to Ramnicu Valcea. This is national road DN7 , and also is european road E 15A.

(11:07AM) Before Aldesti is an intersection, Ramnicu Valcea is to the left and to the right is Curtea de Arges. The Monastery of Curtea de Arges is one of the most important contruction of religious architecture.

(11:10AM) Till Ramnicu Valcea there are many villages such as Valea Ursului, Prislopu, Draganu, Dumbravesti, Moraresti, Dedulesti, Milcioiu, Aldesti.

(11:12AM) Is an admirable road. Between Pitesti and Aldesti is a hill named "Dealul Negru" (Black Hill), here is a famous place, named Dedulesti. Here you can taste their extraordinary sausages "mititei or mici".

(11:13AM) We are still on the road to Ramnicu Valcea.
Beyond Curtea de Arges is the Transfagarasan Road (national road DN7C) which starts at the Vidraru Dam, then it goes up in a sinuously road up to Balea Lake (2034m) and is crossing the Fagaras Mountains.

(11:18AM) After few Km (aprox. 17 km) we'll arrive to Ramnicu Valcea.
